Mieszkam na styku Gdańska i Sopotu. Granica miast jest nie do zauważenia, ale po jej przekroczeniu, czuć w którym mieście jesteś. Wszystkich nas łączy bliskość morza z jednej strony i lasu z drugiej. Najbardziej lubię w tym miejscu to, że latem możesz poczuć się jak na wakacjach bez wyjeżdżania ze swojego domu.

I live in … The thing that I like about it most is…
I live on the verge of Gdansk and Sopot. The border between cities is barely noticeable but upon crossing, you can automatically feel you’re in a different city. Everyone is connected by the proximity of the sea and the forest. I like my town the most for the fact that in the summer, I can feel like I’m on vacation without really leaving home.

Zamieniam słowo “porażka” na lekcja – jestem za pielęgnowaniem pozytywnych emocji. Każda “lekcja” z drukarnią, źle przygotowane pliki, źle dobrany papier – uczą mnie większej uwagi przy kolejnym projekcie.

The best-worst idea was…
I tend to replace the word “failure” with “lesson” – I’m for cultivating positive emotions. Each lesson I’ve learned at a printing house, each time I didn’t prepare the files correctly or didn’t choose the paper right – these moments have made me more mindful with every new project.

Projektowanie jest trudne bo (a może nie jest?)
Projektowanie nie jest trudne, znając zasady można zaproponować logiczne i poprawne rozwiązanie. Trudne jest przedstawienie pomysłu klientowi i dotarcie do akceptacji projektu. Trudne jest odkrywanie i przekraczanie własnych granic kreatywności i utartych schematów.

Design is difficult because (or is it?)
Designing is not difficult. When you know the rules, you can propose logical and correct solutions. What’s hard is presenting your idea to the client and getting it accepted. It’s also difficult to discover and cross your creative boundaries and well-trodden paths.
